GENERAL MULTIPLAYER TROUBLESHOOTING
Multiplayer fix has been applied already
- 1. Launch the game through bin64\dontstarve_steam_x64.exe
- 2. Make sure you and your friends are on the same local network, we recommend RADMIN
- 3. Start the game, press the PLAY-button. Before the “Create An Account”-window pops up, there should be “Logging in”-window, click “Play Offline”
- 4. Host a game, the other player(s) should be able to find it, join and play together
- To change in-game name, go into bin64\steam_settings\settings and edit account_name.txt
NOTE: If you get stuck on the “Logging in” window, press ESC. Click PLAY and then QUICKLY press the LEFT ARROW and press ENTER. If you don’t do this quickly, you will not be able to click “Play Offline”
